        27-10 Pack.

This is an interesting one. You know ever since Cutler signed they have been eying this game to make a statement in the Conference. I'm sure they will have 'stuff' ready to go.

Bears 35, Packers 28. Packers defense is not ready to go. Cutler controls the turnovers and the Packers' rusty players, inexperienced in their system, along with their inability to stop the run, coupled with the ability of Lovie Smith to find a way to beat the Pack by hook or crook will undo the hopeful Packers and their devoted fans. Thompson will be blamed for the loss.

Well, we dominated Chicago for 7 out of 8.5 quarters last year and beat them 37-3 at Lambeau.

I'm guessing 34-13 Packers. Cutler is going to be running for his life all day with the exotic blitzes. The Packer O is going to have no problems.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

                              And if the Pack lose?

I predict Rodgers to have a decent game, but the Packers inability to cover the TE's or Forte out the backfield will be the doom of them. Olsen lined up on the same side of Hester, with the safety giving help to the corner as to not getting beat deep will leave Olsen abusing any LB covering him and like wise for Forte. Packers blitzing that they showed in the preseason will be severely exploited by Cutlers quick feet and check downs. Bears O-line dominated NY Giants when the first string went up against them, and the Packers D-line doesn't compare to them. Dont be surprised if the pressure you thought would be there after watching Preseason games against slow QB's, will come up short while playing against Cutler.

                              Bears - 24
                              Packers - 13

But this is week one, and therefore the most unpredictable week in the NFL.

                                GB 34 Chi 20

Rodgers is going to carve up the Bears injury-ridden, insufficient secondary like a T-Giving turkey. I don't think the Bears front four can get consistent pressure against GB's OL, and if the Bears start blitzing then the Packer WRs will have a field day.

It will be interesting to see how the clash between the Bears new offense and the Packers new defense plays out. I'm a little concerned about the defense's ability to stop the run; if they hadn't gotten so many takeaways in PS they would have been exposed a little more. We have yet to see how the Packers implement Capers system in a real game setting, and we have yet to see how they respond to game planning, half-time adaptations and so on. While I'm optimistic about the season I won't be surprised if there are some bumps in the road on defense during the first half of the season. I take great consolation in the fact that GB gets the Bears for the first week and not a higher quality opponent.
