        Robert Edwards (Patriots RB)

Edwards made the Pro Bowl his rookie year. He was hurt in a league sanctioned flag football game on the beach. It was a non-contact injury but Charles Woodson was somehow involved in the play in which he was injured.

        • EJ suffered a broken femur so says brad childress from pft... gosh you just hate to see anything like this happen to anyone... prayers go out to the henderson family, hopefully this isn't career ending

          • Just got back from the Cardinals game. Boy oh boy was that a fun game to be a non Viking fan at. Oh and Ras, I gotta ask, are all Vikings fans such wimps? We had Vikes all around us and they were cheering and jeering at us and we were giving it back all through the first quarter. Then as soon as they started losing, it was no longer any fun for them to trash talk with us. They were telling us to "quiet down" etc. Excuse me? You come to Arizona and tell ME to quiet down at MY stadium? Bunch of losers who can dish it out but can't take it.

sounds like EJ got very lucky if its just a broken femur

it looked to me like like everything in his knee tore apart for it to just be hanging there like that

                  Really Chan?

Do you really need to ask?

Seems a bit rhetorical to the Captain.

                  • very surprised the only damage was the femur. it looked a lot worse than that.

                      • From what I read, the femur is indeed broken. But Childress also said that he is yet to find out the damage in the knee. I don't think the leg can move like that if there is no knee damage. I am no expert though

                        • Holy Smokes that's a very rare football injury. More associated with MVA's and the like. The exertion required to fracture a femur bone is quite high. Would be surprised if he can come back anything close to form, if at all.

Proves again that football is not a contact sport; it's a collision sport.

Just catching bits & pieces on the nfl.com/live website & it's looking UGG-LEE vs. the Brownies.

                            • Yeah, I'm kind of worried that the Steelers will continue sucking it up and get angry when we come to town.

Then again, if you don't get angry after losing to the Chiefs and Raiders, why would you get angry after losing to the Chiefs, Raiders, and Browns?

The Browns are a division opponent.
