A friend of mine is at the game and has met Gilbert Brown, Ahman Green and Frankie Winters today. Good to see some former Pack members at the game.

I'm not defending the decision to play Barbre. I'm defending TT's philosophy, which has worked well. If we signed a big name FA to fill every spot we'd be back in Sherman mode.

Falco, you cannot ALWAYS rely on a rookie. This is a perfect example of that. There had to be someone that could push the guy that wouldn't have required mega bucks.

TT's philosophy got us this guy. In this instance it hasn't worked. The guy is not perfect. Can we at least tarnish his halo a little bit?

Barbre's not a rookie. And we had a competition at RT, with two players who weren't rookies.

I'm not saying TT has a halo - in fact, he's made numerous mistakes (Harrell, Frost, etc).

Defense is playing with immense confidence. Its no wonder they wanted Matthews on the field. Chillar is also playing well -- taking more snaps than Hawk.

our d is the real deal guys. and we got some depth. jolly had one of the best plays i've seem from a big man on the int, chillars hurdle and sack was graet, and all the int's and pressure are really a sight for sore eyes

with that said, theres one giant weak spot on this team. barbre needs to be taken right the hell out of there before he gets rodgers killed and flushes our whole season down the drain. he has no clue what he's doing out there, and theres no excuse for him remaining in the game.
