Honestly, I think the coaches were surprised with (and didn't game plan for) how much Barbre would struggle. They were also slow to give him help. It was the worst thing to come out of this game, but I think they'll be better able to handle it in the future.

        tat could very well be

the guy almost single handedly lost us the game

the rest of the line didn't look that bad tonight. but barbre was the guy responsible for us not being able to get into any kind sinc

          Barbre lost his cherry tonite.

He's got a long way to go, but it was his 1st league start. He learned the diff btw game speed and pre-seson. that's for sure.

I would have thought the Pack could have used their 2 tight ends in the middle of the field with da bears down two LBs. Nothing though...weird.

Part of the problem was the Bears kept overloading and blitzing up the middle. RB's and TE's were shoring up the middle, leaving Barbre to fend for himself mostly and he got schooled by a solid vet.

They may not have had a good excuse, but they were exhausted last year at the end of seemingly every game.

Nothing made me feel better about this season than that goal line stand in with 3 minutes left. We couldn't have done that last year, especially after being jobbed by a faux penalty. No way. Credit to Capers.

no protection ='s no TE's running across the middle. they couldn't use that part of the gameplan. No way.

                      • The Pack did run some two TE in the 2nd half. They also had TE on the right and some RBs behind him.

But they didn't do it for every play.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

                          • Time to tune into Chicago Sports radio in the morning.

I love the sound of Bear fans in the morning after a loss. Sounds like...victory.
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

Eek, that sounds bad. Do we have any idea what general area of the body he injured? It looked like a back injury on TV (which is potentially very very bad), but I wasn't sure. Still, I hope he's okay.
