  • Colledge sprains foot

Anybody here about this? Just heard this on WSSP that he sprained his foot, not his ankle. That doesn't sound good. They said Lang would slide in, but I suspect they'd give Well's the start and slide Spitz over. Maybe not for a week or two, but if its a 6 week thing they'd make the slide.

Yeah it's on JSO. Maybe this could be the rebirth of Wells for all you Scott fans. Hope Colledge gets better fast.

Per McCarthy, Lang will fill in for Colledge if he is unable to go.

I recently had a foot sprain, and it was a pain in the ass, but I could be reasonably active on it. It just hurt. Hopefully it's a similar thing for Daryn.

This could be a blessing in disguise. Spitz is bigger and badder than ever. Wells is bigger and badder than ever. If those two play well, it could open the door to Colledge moving in at RT and ending this years nightmare.

Then next year, Lang is ready, we draft a LT with out top pick and we move on into the future with the NFL's best OL

              Can you play offensive line?

At the same level Barbre played last week, he probably can...

Uhmm... McCarthy didn't say anything of the sort. Here's his direct quote :

"(Would you just move Lang in there?)
Well, I don't really want to talk about that unless I have to. So we'll see how tomorrow goes. "

Where did you get that? He refused to comment when asked if Lang would go for Colledge.

TT's cheapskate ways have bitten the tean in the ass.

To be fair, I have no idea what sort of vets better than Moll were avaiable, but no need to overdo fairness.

Both McCarthy and Colledge both agree that he should be able to play this weekend. Sounds like just a minor sprain, I wonder if it will inhibit his play any. My experience with this sort of thing is that it's not an injury that keeps you from doing anything (like an ankle sprain would), but it's an injury that makes things painful that would not otherwise be. Guess we get to find out how tough Daryn is.

They'll probably give him a giant shoe cast to help protect it. That'll slow him down, but thankfully LG might have the least requirement for mobility of any position on the roster.

I sprained my arch once as a young man. Hurt like the dickens, but I could still gimp around like a little retarded fella. I'm guessing that a guy who gets paid millions to be on his feet and who has access to top of the line pain control methods won't have a problem.

Harlan, have you been biting teens in the ass?
