I'll go on record right now. No team should take the 49ers lightly. Mike Singletary has inspired his team and S. Hill has to be the starting QB and has played as well as his HC has coached this team.

I really felt that the Vikings would win this match-up but no way did I expect the 49ers 'D' to play as well as it did. Favre and the Vikings running game was under a lot of pressure.

Maybe. Maybe we stiffen up on the run like we did against Forte. Maybe we get gashed like we did against Benson. Maybe we give up an average 4 ypc like we did today against Jackson. It's just too inconsistent to know for sure.

All I know is this. Our defense is gonna be just as fired up for this game as Favre is. Nobody's licking their chops more than Al and Chuck are. We already know how long Barnett has been looking forward to this, as he's been very clear about it via Twitter. Don't take anything away from the Packers here. They'll be just as ready to play as anyone on the Vikings roster will be.

DBs: Advantage big time GB. Wood, harris and tramon..way over clements, bly and spencer. Safeties..collins and ? against Lewis and Goldson (who replaced MARK ROMAN)...push.

Coach: Capers against manusky...manusky was just promoted.

They held ADP under 100 yards today. You think we're capable of that next week? I don't care about which defense on paper has more talent, it's about who's playing better. The 49ers held a very potent Arizona offense to 10 pts in Arizona week one and gave up 10 pts to Seattle week 2. Compare the two defenses and the yards they've given up and tell me who's playing better.
