I don't think Vonta Leach is going to make this team. Hopefully this cooper fella can catch the ball and stick some blocks, because over the past two years I have not been all that impressed with Vonte.

I like the fact that Davenport will see some time as a fullback, and he wouldn't be a bad choice for the third down back if he can set up the screen and catch the ball. I would also like to see Ahman Green kept in there on third down since he has the best hands on the team, and he is unbelievable on the screen.

I wouldn't be suprised if a month into training camp Samkon is dealt for a future draft pick. If he doesn't start recognizing the scheme on the field a little quicker he is going to be useless as a running back in the zone scheme. Herron my not be a burner but he has the scheme down at this point, and he is big enough to play a little fullback.

I think Thompson and MM want to keep 6 wide recievers, so in a likely case if Davenport and Herron can demonstrate that they can take on the responsiblity of the fullback here and there, than I think they will only carry one full time fullback

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hendo cut. It's a new offense. His knowledge isn't as valuable. It's a new ST coach, his knowledge isn't as valuable there either. It might be time to part ways with big will. It all will depend on the young guys. All of them look to have something to offer. If two rise to the challenge, Hendo is out the door.
