  • After Furter Review - Pack/Vikes

    some notes:
    • * Martin was responsible for 3 big gains, he was benched after playing the wrong defense on Berrian's TD.
      * Kamp blew coverage underneath on Rice's TD
      * Favre was 5/5, 61 yards when GB rushed more than 4
      * A-rod had partial blame on 5 of the 8 sacks.
      * kudos for CM3 and J-Mike

He breaks down a few other plays also.

It seems to me that our lack of a strong safety has really hurt on our 2 losses.

find this hard to believe since on 3rd and 14 on the second possession I saw us send 5 and he threw an incompletion. Maybe I can't count to 5, I'll have to watch it again.

Martin did fk up big time... I can't wait till Bigby gets back to the lineup, and hopefully after the bye week Martin can pick up the defensive system so these mental mistakes do not occur. The Bye week really came at a perfect time.

You missed it. from the linebacker thread:

"second drive 3rd and 14: three man rush, underneath throw, incomplete "

It may shock us, how much Bigby actually does mean to our defense.

Because he's just a sweet transvestite.

He only means that much because we have no one else, hell they tried Chillar at safety, what the hell does that tell you?

Its confirmed - Arod hangs on the ball too long. While the o-line still needs to improve overall play, the sacks are not entirely the o-line's fault.

                  Cliffy and Tauscher only help.

Well Favre was hanging on the ball for too damned long also.

Apples and Oranges -- what type of pass rush do the Packers mount vs. the Vikings?

Hold the ball all you want if you have time and a running game the d must respect.

I suspect that was my point, but I almost never know until after I read the damn things.

That they wanted to stop Stephen Jackson and Adrian Peterson and wanted someone bigger in the box.
