Why bother with trade rumours?

I love how so many sights try and trumpet all of these trades that 'could/should' be made at the deadline.

Come on folks, this is the NFL. These things barely happen during the off-season, forget about it during the season. All the writers are screaming at the top of their lungs hoping to get a GM to do something like hockey or baseball.

Outside of Braylon Edwards, which was quite an abberation, these things just don't happen. So stop screaming about TO, Steven Jackson, Josh Cribbs. Shawne Merriman. Who else...oh ya, a couple of QB's, Quinn and Young.

So what happened today? Oh ya, Tank Tyler (who?) got moved...
