well neither unless we double Jared Allen! I mean a TE on his side with a chipping RB!
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.
Lang, largely because he's in a lot better shape right now.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

That said... I think if Cliffy's healthy this week, he probably starts. He knows Allen's tricks.
That's the thing I'm worried about. If Clifton is healthy, he starts. That's an MM thing to do...
I don't think he's going to be our best LT (crazy?) next week and if Clifton starts and struggles early next week, does MM have the balls to make an early move?
I go with Lang at this point. Cliffy isn't the same cliffy we loved for all those years. Start Lang and run the first 3 plays right at Allen regardless of success....or run away and cut Allen to the ground. But run and wear that DL down a touch.

I'd buy this.
If we start Lang, we will run more. While Clifton's probably better at this point in pass pro, the running game could arguably help our passing game more than the difference in pass pro skills...

If Clifton is healthy he's handled these guys in the past and this is an ez call
Lang could get torn apart
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

At this point, Lang would get eaten alive by the NFL's best pass rusher. You go with the Vet....Clifton held Allen off the first game of the year in 2008. I don't think Allen had any sacks. TJ Lang needs more experience against crappy teams like the Browns.

YOu conveniantly leave out the second game. I don't seem to recall, did Allen make any impact in that game?
Lang is competitive and young. Cliffy once he is beat looks like BF looked chasing down that interception today. "oh well, I got beat"
When Lang has been beat he keeps scrapping so Arod can step past a guy and not worry that he is still coming. Night and day at this point. As I've said many times, I LOVED cliffy over his career. At this point its time for the youngster to play.
