I think we can all agree when hes given players like Jarret Bush, that its not his fault.
Because Jarret Bush is so bad that no team wanted him when he hit restricted free agency...

Just want a clarification if you think Bush is good..
TT and MM think he's pretty good.

Therein lies the rub. Why won't TT try to make our team better every week? Get his nose to the grindstone, burn the midnight oil. Always bringing in people so the one's on board play with more fire - passion?
To what end? Why keep bringing in player after player? That sends a horrible message to the guys on the roster. If you make them believe they aren't worth anything and can be replaced by any FA off the street, they will believe it and do worse.

I have no specific opinion. I'm not a scout and I don't watch tape. He could be good. But I don't know.
          ok just wondering.
He is a very good gunner on Special Teams. He nearly left as a RFA this year after being offered a contract to do just that. He does collect penalties too often.

He isn't nearly as good at CB or safety. But this is not unusual in the workd of Special Teams. Tracy White may have been our best special teams player but he was not good enough to be a full time LB.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

            Here are my opinions:

            1) TT, though he has some holes as a GM, has provided talent to M3 and is overall a good GM
            2) M3, though he has some excellence as coach, doesn't have excellence that covers the holes of TT (thus is not perfectly complementary), but is overall a serviceable coach
            3) One of his holes is "good enough" coach hiring: he promoted Bob Sanders instead of finding the best available, he promoted Slocum instead of finding the best available
            4) As such, I'm not excited about Slocum as special teams coach
            5) The Packers scouting and talent division is second to none (as their reputation has been)
            6) Keeping Bush was a talent decision that was validated by another team trying to sign him in the offseason
            7) Since it wasn't a talent decision (at the time), it seems to be a coaching issue (or something lacking between Bush's ears)
            8) As such, I'm far more apt to point my finger at the special teams' coach than at Bush (since special teams uses 11 players just like offense and defense)

            Ton of good points

But I disagree about Bush. Because one team in the NFL decided to make him a not so great offer doesn't validate much IMO. I'm not as high as #5 as you are either but we're alright there
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

MM is big on loyalty. Possess sympathy for assistant coaches due to his career as an assistant coaches.

The problem is lane integrity during coverage. Also unsure if the proper players are selected for the various units.

Oops!! Barbre probably won't be our special teams savior. He has a concussion:

                From MM's Wednesday press conference:
(When did Barbre get his concussion?)
Late in the game. He didn't practice today. I think if you wanted to compare him and Aaron Kampman, he's further ahead, closer to getting back on the field.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.
