Romo returns to WI... maybe we'll boo him relentlessly -- or maybe we'll boo M3 :P
Gonna take the little ones on a hike and get back before the late kickoff.
My wishlist:
Offense
- some rollouts with WRs flooding zone coverage
- more than 2 screens (and not to just AG)
- less explanations on why teams are letting us throw deep; more quick passes
- 3 sacks or less allowed
- 20 attempts and 100+ for Grant (or Grant/Green combo)
Defense
- 3 sacks (a big wish as we've only had 3 total in last 3 games, no AK and only 18 in 8 games (5 vs. the Lions))
- 2 turnovers
- Some blitzes that are disguised well - or where the LBs don't just hit a blocking lineman
ST
- don't lose the game and no holding penalitiesThe measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.

Just getting everything ready for the trip up to Green Bay.
I can't wait to see a home victory for the Pack. The only loss I have seen is the 35-0 game against NE; all the rest have been big Ws. I am going to bring back another W tonight. But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

"Aaron HAS to stop being the reggie bush of QBs"
Great line, Mobb.
Got a friend - a fellow Packer fan - coming over to watch. I fear that we'll be biotching and complaining for the first half, then lapse into despair in the third quarter.
I hope I am wrong and we are treated to a Packer upset."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

I watched the packer/cowboy 1994 game yesterday on NFL network. I got to see Irvin push off and crawl over Evans (who was looking back for the ball) and get 40 yard PI call. Then I got to see some cowboy OL get beat, then grab Gilberts leg as Fatty ran past him, thus twisting his knee while madden declared "Brown just looks like he tripped". I turned it off....hope to god its not a precursor. The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi

Agreed. I have to wonder if today is the day Arod gets knocked out of a game. DWare is gonna be in the backfield all day.Originally posted by Scott CampbellI think were in for a long day against a good Cowboy team. And I'd love to be wrong.www.ccso228@twitter.com

I wish we got the rain Tampa did this year. Now with the dry season upon us I fear there will be alot of fires this winter. My hubby and I debated about driving up to Tampa to see last week's game in person but I'm glad we stayed home.Originally posted by RastakOriginally posted by MJZiggyIt's gameday. Have we found Rastak yet?
I just blew back in from Tampa.....damn nice place. I have a new respect for Pugger fleeing the great white north.
A lot of folks are thinking we're gonna get beat so knowing this schizo team they'll probably come out smoking and pull out a win!

Seeing the numbers is embarrassing. Thought MM was a great QB coach?? I don't care if he's holding the ball too long or not, it's up to the coach to get this fixed.....and he (coach) is FAILING. Hope AR pulls it off today.10. How long can Rodgers take this?
Aaron Rodgers is on pace to be sacked 74 times close to another 100 hits. Things are getting worse, not better, in Green Bay and his personal safety and career could be in jeopardy if things don't change.
He's looking at another rough game with DeMarcus Ware and the Cowboys (21 total sacks) coming to town. Last week, the Bucs came into the Packers game with just 11 sacks and left with six more.Mike McCarthy feels Rodgers has to get rid of the ball faster, and I agree.

If Packers Sacks + Special Team Brain Hiccups + Penalties + Dropped Touchdowns < 10, they will beat the Cowboys.
ARod is only part of the problem by holding the ball too long. The ESPN blog article cited earlier this week put his contribution around 25%. Clifton and Lang need to deliver steady not otherworldly performances. Colledge needs to pull his head out of the dark place it has been residing.
I think the defense will be able to handle the run game. My concern is with the Cowboy TEs versus the Packer LBs.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I think it's going to be a close game and I'm with Bretsky, I've been calling for a Packer win all week. I think the Tampa game was this teams wake up call. Too much talent and the seat is getting too warm for this team to falter."I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious." - Vince Lombardi
