What a dumb statement? Doesn't every game matter in the end - shouldn't you play at 100% every week (there's only 16 to worry about).
i'm the last one to take mm's back but what he's saying, i think, is that you have time to make up for errors early in the season...not so much now. there's more urgency now.
Exactly. EVERY coach, player, analyst, whatever, says you need to play your best football in December.
I'm not sure why this is such a taboo for Mac to say it, other than the fact that he is hated and everyone loves to jump on him because he uses "coach-speak" like everyone else does.
I like M3. I know everyone says it - but it's dumb. A division game wk 1 could decide the division champ. Every game is important. It's an attitude.
