is there any chance we can have a home playoff game? or do the wildcard teams automatically have to travel to a division winner, even if we have a better record?

Only chance we could have at a home game in NFCC game...against the #6 seed (if we remain the #5 seed). My signature has NUDITY in it...whatcha gonna do?

You can't count today's game. Seattle isn't a good measuring stick at all. Against great teams the pass rush hasn't been there.Originally posted by packer4lifelack of pass rush? i wouldn't go that farOriginally posted by imscott72I don't think we match up well with any pass heavy team. Lack of pass rush, combined with a subpar secondary spells trouble against teams like Minny, NO, and Zona. Look what Pitt did to us last week..Originally posted by The LeaperI'm not liking having to play the Cardinals in the playoffs though...I don't think we match up well with them.www.ccso228@twitter.com

Yes, division winners get seeds 1-4 and WCs get 5 and 6 even if the WC team has a better record. Only chance for a playoff game this year at Lambeau is getting the 5 seed and playing the 6 seed in the NFC title game.Originally posted by redis there any chance we can have a home playoff game? or do the wildcard teams automatically have to travel to a division winner, even if we have a better record?Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

They got pressure against both Dallas and Pittsburgh.Originally posted by imscott72Against great teams the pass rush hasn't been there.
I think we also would do better against the VIkings now...our front seven has reached more of a comfort zone in the 4-3, which wasn't as true in the first half of the season. My signature has NUDITY in it...whatcha gonna do?

No, this D lacks conventional pass rushers. When a team is in throw only mode and the Packers are dropping seven or eight, their pass rush suffers. If Capers can blitz, then it works better.Originally posted by The LeaperI think our pass rush is fine...but our secondary has holes.
ARI scares me...because they have loads of highly talented WRs and a monster OL.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Let's hope they haven't reached a comfort level in the 4-3Originally posted by The LeaperThey got pressure against both Dallas and Pittsburgh.Originally posted by imscott72Against great teams the pass rush hasn't been there.

thats crap, you're rewarding a team for being the best in a horrible divisionOriginally posted by The LeaperWildcards always are on the road.Originally posted by redis there any chance we can have a home playoff game? or do the wildcard teams automatically have to travel to a division winner, even if we have a better record?

it should all be based on record
if a team has the 3rd or 4th best record in their conference, they should host a first round game, even if they are a wildcard

I don't agree--then it would be like the NBA where divisions don't mean anything.Originally posted by redthats crap, you're rewarding a team for being the best in a horrible divisionOriginally posted by The LeaperWildcards always are on the road.Originally posted by redis there any chance we can have a home playoff game? or do the wildcard teams automatically have to travel to a division winner, even if we have a better record?

Dallas sucks, and when we needed the pass rush most against the Steelers it wasn't there. I'd love to be wrong, I just think with dangerous pass heavy teams we're in trouble..Originally posted by The LeaperThey got pressure against both Dallas and Pittsburgh.Originally posted by imscott72Against great teams the pass rush hasn't been there.

What teams get great pass rush with a 3 man rush? If you are dropping 8, you aren't likely to get a pass rush...no matter if your OL has both Reggie White and Deacon Jones.Originally posted by pbmaxNo, this D lacks conventional pass rushers.
