  • Cowher Calling Assistants

It sounds at first like he has a job all wrapped up, but when you get to Florio's contention that he has done this before (without taking a job), it could be that he is simply being thorough.

Is there anyone on the Packer's staff he might want?

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported it last week, and Steve Wyche of NFL.com echoes it today: Former Steelers coach Bill Cowher has been making calls in the hopes of putting together a coaching staff.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Darren Perry coached under Cowher, but I don't think MM would let him go unless it was for a Asst. H.C. or DC position. I don't think MM would let Capers go.

On a related note, Brian Billick to interview with the Bills
The latest news, videos, scores and more on the biggest sports, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, Soccer, Boxing, NASCAR and more with Sporting News

Darn. I think Billick is outstanding as an NFL TV analyst.

Yeah, I think Perry is next in line for our DC job if Capers were to retire/take a promotion (here or elsewhere).

He's one of those smart, intense young guys that's being coveted around the league. Can't see us letting him get away.

          Take Joe Campen for example.

          Please, take him.

TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

              James?

Poor offensive line guys. Posters can't even remember their first names...

By the way, this rimshot is better.

If you need quick access to an ironicly-placed rimshot sound to mock your friends, or a genuinely-placed rimshot to put your great joke over the top, you've come to the right place.
