Anybody think the Pack will end the 320 lb experiment and ask him to drop to 285-290, what he played at in college? If he's playing end, that is plenty big and with his height and long reach he could do fine.

I'm of the belief that Pickett will be resigned, so between Pick and Raji they have the inside covered. Hopefully this guy can get to the lowest, healthiest weight he's been at since college and be a contributor.

Did he really play that light? NFLDraftScout in their pre-draft profile had him listed at 300 http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...2007&genpos=DT

Packers.com in their post-draft profile had him listed at 310.

285-290 would seem to be a bit light unless he is going to be a pass rush specialist. I'm not sure he has the pass rush ability to fit that role even if healthy. I suppose losing the weight might help his back condition.

I think the kid's worked hard, but the back issues have been bad. They weren't present in college, so I don't blame TT, just unfortunate. It would be great if he could come in, be clear of the back issues and have an impactful season and then resign at a discount to make up for the first three seasons. However, if the issues creep back up, which I highly suspect they will, its time to part ways.

250 is too much?? What are you basing this on? This kid is HUGE. The weight isn't the issue, he either has a structural problem or an alignment problem that is causing this, but a guy his size weighing 250 or 320 isn't what is causing his back issues. I know guys who are skinny with back problems (my 105 lb. 12% body fat wife has back issues), yet I had a friend who was 5'10" and went 380 lbs. who never had a sore joint. He finally dropped the weight due to fatigue and sleep apnea, but always laughed at my shoulder problems when I was in great shape.

JH is naturally a big man and should keep his weight at 300+. IMO based on Capers scheme should be able to play de.

what i ment was it doesn't matter if he's 350 or 250, he's gonna get hurt. the weight isn't the issue with him
