Hey, pb, what was that you wrote me the other day in another thread about NFL coaches never deferring as a strategy?

I love the Jets. Defense and the ground game.
I have never seen it, although the NFL just put the College defer rule in a couple years back. I should say I don't know of Ryan deferred or choose to kick. But in either case, have not seen it.

But just for the record, the Jets lost 25 yards of field position on the exchange.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

And for the record, it was a good idea but a bad punt.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Walk on at UW Madison....nobody thought this guy could earn a scholarship and he wanted to be a Badger

instant ballhawk despite his five foot nine inch frame
dude can jump and he has some speed

I was worried he'd be done in the NFL after a couple years

Then Rex Ryan leaves the Ravens and they sign JL to a nice contract.

          Good for him

WTF is the deal with modern football???

It used to be you could tackle the QB, knock the ball out of his hand for a fumble and force a receiver to fumble with a big hit.

You must factor that in when you give up a possession!

You're right. If a good punter is required, the Pack can't do it.

I could not tell you what a catch is anymore. After one knee equals two feet, everything else has changed.

Used to be two feet, then two feet and a football move, now, I think, neither are involved definitively. Who knows?

yes, and we can all start giving the Jets kudos for manning up to sign Alen Faneca in free agency. Guy is a stud. That OL is pretty good
