I actually have been watching the poor, poor, suffering Browns since they "re-became" a team again. One of my best friends is from Cleveland and also a Browns fan... and...well...lemme just say it really reminds me of the "Dark Years" of the Packers. I'm talking pre-Trajik Man. Its bad. Really bad.

MTV (my nick name for Cribbs) is literally their only stud player right now...save for that Wisconsin kid on the O-line, but he sure as hell ain't scoring any TD's like MTV.

If I'm Holm-boy (Nickname for M1) I pay the man and keep him around. MTV and Holm-boy do NOT see eye to eye on the price tag though. Last I heard Holm-boy made an offer that MTV laughed at.

I could see Holm-boy parting with him under the "rebuilding year" excuse depending on the return. Although every year for the Browns has been a "rebuilding" year, I think the enthusiasm the Browns fans have for just having someone of Holm-boy's caliber would allow their forgiveness in a few years after his plan develops.

If I'm Teats - I give everything except my left nut to get the guy. Imagine GB having a man who I feel is way more dangerous than Hester ever was for DaBearz, still young with plenty of upside, and extremely eager to be on a playoff bound team.

I'd be all for it. Which means it probably ain't gonna happen.

Q: How do you shut up a browns fan?

A: After using their bathroom, you simply flush the toilet and shout out "I'm taking the Browns to the bowl!!!"

If you were Teats, would you part with your right nut?

Pissed off players often do really well for their new team, at least for a year or two. You don't need to look any further than Favre's new found ability to play within himself and TO's play every time he switched teams (except this year in Buffalo).

It would be nice to be on the other side of that for once.

Cribbs is playing for a loser team and performing at a pro bowl level. He has asked for a new contract and deserves one.

Think about...you have a great player who isn't trying to leave cleveland. He wants to stay.

He may have spouted off..so what. His performance on the field hasn't suffered. He hasn't been a distraction. You don't have teammates railing against him.

Cribbs knows he has a limited amount of years to play..and he wants to get paid. He came into the league unheralded, switched positions and made himself into a player. Bravo.

We would be lucky to have him.
Not only that, but there are reports Cribbs was promised a contract upgrade. He didn't go public with his disappointment until that promise was reneged.
No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.

Nope. 'Cause If I were Teats - I'd already have given my right one just to appease Bert for so long.

Maybe MH accepts a Bush for Cribbs trade ala Vinson for Green.

Why not throw in Barbre for Joe Thomas just to even things out a little?

Barbre plays RT not LT. Why don't we throw in Clifton for Thomas?
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

I am sure Barbre could perform just as well at LT as he did at RT. Really, he is the most interchangeable member of the GB OL!

Besides, with Clifton you might actually be giving something away, assuming he can stay healthy. That would throw this trade out of whack.
