Sadly, I agree. I wish he would have been as effective on kickoff returns as he was on punt returns. But his milieu was more on the change of direction on the drop of a dime which definitely lends itself more to punt returns. I can see why he's great at one and awful at the other...
No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.

The best kick returners are big, fast, stupid and fearless (actually they are fearless because they are stupid). Travis Williams was one of the all-time best.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

        Poor use of stats.

In 2008 Green Bay's kick return average was 32nd in the league. Ouch. Blackmon's personal return average ranked him 34th best in the league. Overrated? Very much so.

Punts, he was better and was 9th in the league in yards/return.

I am willing to concede that his punt returning was very good if you will concede that he was the worst starting kick returner in the league.
I wouldnt go as far as to say he is the worst kick returner in the league but good find on his kick return average, didn't realize he was that low in the league. I will concede is a far better punt returner than kick returner.

He's likely the best return guy on the team and thus his role there is solidified until someone better is found.

This thread is about him breaking out as a corner which I don't ever see happening. He's the worst corner on the team which says a ton.

The coaches had good things to say about Brandon Underwood this year. Maybe he could step up. Pat Lee is still our dream... a guy we wanted that actually got drafted. Hopefully he's healthy and ready to live up to his 2nd round potential.
