Looks like he is going to be released by the saints, id do the same after a superbowl if i was them.

New Orleans Saints safety Darren Sharper, who had an NFL-high-tying nine interceptions this past season, wants to return to the Super Bowl champions. However, the fact that they are allowing him to test free agency -- he was notified Monday that they woul

Sharper anyone? Anyone think this guy could play strong safety, possibly fs if collins is a better fit at ss? Bigby is OK but i think we need someone with better coverage skills, not just decent run support.

not a chance...I'd rather have Rolle from 'Zona.

I think Brandon Chillar could do a better impersonation of a SS.

Please let me know when a big name SS hits the market, depending on who it is I'll endorse signing him. We already have a pro bowl FS, so we don't really need to upgrade that position with big names. Quality depth, sure, but Rolle and Sharper aren't going to want to sign to be anybody's backup.

Oddly enough, at the right price, I'd take him. Nothing over the top, maybe 3 mil per year, but I'd take him.

And play him where? As a nickel corner? I don't see him starting over Collins.
