davis is the best guy on the board i'm very worried about his motor or lack there-of, and his desire

hughes could be awesome, but i'm also worried about him having to lern a whole new position

charles brown might be nice, but he'd be a bit of a project, which is fine for us with both tackles returning. but why spend a first round pick on a project when you can spend a 2nd or 3rd or the project OT

kyle wilson is all over the place on boards. some have in as the #2 cb, others have him as far down as the 8th best (lindy's). no guarantee TT has him that high. he is kind of short at 5'10
pouncey might be nice, but i'm worried about any player that comes out of Florida. they seem to have a high bust rate

maybe earl thomas. he's either a corner or safety. no one knows. he's also somewhat short

sergio kindle i think would be a good pick, but people on here now hate him because of a low 10 second split

jahvid best would be a real nice addition IMO. but would TT go for a running back that high?

mays is a bigger faster version of bigby. he won't get INT's, he'll miss some assignments and tackles, but he'll get a handfull of huge hits a year that make most of us creme our pants thinking he's a minor god. why spend a 1st on a minor upgrade over a guy already on the roster?

other the best i'm not really excited about anyone left, but also wouldnn't be upset with any of those listed really
Whoever has Kyle Wilson as the 8th rated CB should start looking for a new line of work.

      it's lindy's draft magazine

but all the info is supplied by NFLDraftScout.com, including the rankings

probably the best site anywhere for finding info on the guys

their online site has moved him up to #3 since the combine. funny because he didn't workout at the combine

      • Lot of different opinions on Wilson. Sporting News has him 7th. GBNReport has him 2nd. I think he is a good fit for the Packers.

haha yea I'm not a fan of that Jay-Z song or most of his newer songs. I don't know if your that into rap but "Reasonable Doubt" is by far one of my favorite CDs.

              • i got another negative for anthony davis

                he skipped his pro day.

scouts and players showed up at the rutgers pro day just to see him and he never showed. scouts had to call him out of bed to get him to come down and talk with them. agent later said he skipped it because he was sick and agent said he made it known the night before that davis would not be there. no scouts got the call

agent later said it was a hamstring injury that kept him away

guy seems a lot like andre smith from last year

                  wow...just...WOW!

[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

                  • Definitely sounds like the kind of guy that TT will take a pass on. Especially in a year where there is no shortage of OT talent.

                    • I was really hoping Brandon Graham would fall to us. Honestly, that is the guy in this draft (picking at 23) that I hope we get. Beyond that I'm just going to be happy with whomever TT and the scouting department has decided should be on this team. Under the old regime I wouldn't have felt that way but I have trust in the management of our favorite team. I was upset about Fergy over Chambers when it happened and I'm still upset about it now.

Honestly, if this is what is left I wouldn't be at all surprised if TT traded down out of the first round and picked up multiple picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

                      • Heads up guys and gals, the 2010 Mock Draft thread is posted up, hopefully I included all the top remaining candidates. Do some research and vote for the best one for the Packers! I'll wait a couple days for everyone to vote.
                        Thanks Ted!

                        • Kyle Wilson cut his dreads for the combine... he's too clean cut to be on the Packer D

Not in my private collection of combine (men in spandex) photos, no... I did a quick google image search and didn't see anything.

I'm with Fred on this whole draft, I keep flip flopping.

I'd be happy with a bunch of guys. I like Wilson a lot.

this is a year it seems to make a ton of sense to trade ten or so picks down. when you get to twenty four unless somebody falls most of the next group of players seem the same. Trade down and pickup Hughes......I'd be all about that
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER
