  • Big, Athletic OL that had good college careers

Marshall Newhouse - OG/OT for TCU. 4th round. Had a great college career and played really well at the EW Shrine game. Newhouse is a big guy that is impressively explosive and handles himself well in space. We've had some luck with big guys that can move (lang, sitton). Here's another.

Brandon Carter - OG - Texas Tech - 5th round Played in Texas Tech's pass heavy offense and had years where he never gave up a sack!!. Guy is reliable. Big dude with shocking agility. His 40 yard dash sucks, but his 10 yard and 3-cone is impressive. He probably wouldn't make a good RB, especially in space, but in tight quarters, for a guy his size, he's as athletic as they come. Character issue probably drops him from our list.

Shawn Lauvao - OG - AZ STate - 6th round Incredibly consistent, but injured throughout his career, Lauvao boats really good 10 yard split times and 3-cone. High potential, high production guy.

Trent Williams - OT - OK - 1st - Elite athlete in short area. Tests high in burst and balance, both highly needed as a run blocker. Not inconsistent, but not flawless like some other OL prospects. Elite run blocker, solid pass protector, but elite athlete.

Jared Velhdeer - OT - Hillsdale - 2nd or early 3rd - Top tier athlete, strangely athletic for a guy that tall. Velhdeer was a really good small school player and impressed at the T v N game. Not many great tackles are that tall 6'8", but who knows, he has a chance

Tony Washington -Albilene Christian - OT - 5th round - Lineman of the year two years in a row in his small conference. Washington displays top notch 10 yard split and 3-cone numbers. Really good athlete. Good small school player. Has a shot.

Thomas Welch - Vandy - OT - 6th round - Tough, nasty lineman. Good, consistent player. Has had some injury problems, but really good athlete and good college player.

    Bryan Buluga - everyone knows

Rodgers Saffold - A lot of experience. Consistent. Really solid athlete.

Tony Washington should go undrafted. Nowhere near dominant at his lower level of competition which is unsettling when you know what kind of body he's got--big but lean like Bruce Campbell. Also had sex with his 14 year old sister when he was 16. Gross.
