  • Ex-Packer Montgomery set to visit Minnesota Vikings

Its a joke how they always go for our ex-players

Michael Montgomery wasn’t a good fit in the Packers’ 3-4 defense, and thus the team cut him earlier this off-season. Now the Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting Montgomery is scheduled to visit the Minnesota Vikings today.

Montgomery (6-5, 282) was drafted in the sixth round out of Texas A&M in 2005 by the Packers and had eight career starts and five sacks. He is projected as a backup defensive end on either side if he signs with the Vikings--Mike Vandermause, mvandermause@greenbaypressgazette.com.

    no joke

its sad how much they wish they were us, they have to snatch up all our cast offs

they'll be in LA soon enough, maybe then they'll lose their hard on for our old players

A career game for Montgomery would be like "3 solo tackles, 2 assists".

EDIT: I looked it up. To date, Montgomery's best game was in 2008 in a losing effort against the Titans where he had 8 solo tackles, 2 assists, one sack, and a pass defensed.

He signed according to Green Bay Press Gazette and Tom Pelissero.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

And do the Packers cast off all their snatch?

                  This could be true.
