I agree. Personally, I won't be surprised if the player that surprises me is Jerry Hughes from TCU.

    Not going to happen

Cuz that's the guy I think I'm going to endorse as the Packers draft pick

At this point I'd like to see Kindle, Graham, or Hughes. I think the first two will be gone by the time we pick
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Nobody knows who that will be until the Packers are on the clock.

Charlie Brown is a need pick and is unlikely to have a high enough grade.
McShay is too stupid to get any credit.

I think Ted's selection will suprise Kiper and the rest of us.
As I was reading this post I was planning to write the same thing. Agree 100%. Ted will go BPA. I'm really starting to get on board with the OLB 1st round pick. We're only a piece or two away from having a very dominating defense. If the OLB isnt there though, I trust Ted not to reach, and either trade down or take the BPA.
After the last couple of drafts we've started to trust Ted.

      But was the deal here?

      2007
      Rnd Name College Note
      1 Justin Harrell Tennessee
      2 Brandon Jackson Nebraska
3 James Jones San Jose State
      3 Aaron Rouse Virginia Tech
4 Allen Barbre Missouri Southern State
      5 David Clowney Virginia Tech
      6 Korey Hall Boise State
      6 Desmond Bishop California
      6 Mason Crosby Colorado
      7 DeShawn Wynn Florida
      7 Clark Harris Rutgers

      I have a theory.

Did you ever draft in a fantasy league with 10-12 teams and every worst-case scenario came true and you missed your dream draft by one pick over and over?

Maybe that's what happened in 2007. Everything fell wrong.

I do agree with Cheez to go BPA whatever the position, and OLB would be sexy. We want our pick to be sleek, muscular, confident, aggressive, and highly skilled.

I mean, who wants to see something like this pop up when our first round pick is called:
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

Sure, we didn't hit any home runs in that draft but we got a bunch of capable backups across the board and you've got to get them from somewhere. Other than Clowney (actually decent) and Harris everyone there is/was a signiificant backup or special teamer for us. Most of them play and while they could all be upgraded TT filled a lot of depth holes in that draft which allowed us to do what we did last year in targeting Raji and Matthews. Not a great draft and not as bad as everyone likes to think it was.

          bump

I'm checking on stuff and I don't want to keep going back to the second page of posts.

Plus, I'm still trying to become Mr. 3,000
