The Premise:

Pick 10 players YOU think the Packers might draft this year and what round you think they'll go in. Whoever racks up the most points, wins.

Scoring:

Points will be awarded according to the round the player was taken in, since predictions are proportionally more difficult in the higher rounds. One additional point will be added if the round prediction is correct. For Example:

If you predict the Packers will take Brandon Graham in the 1st round, and that happens, you get 2 points, 1 point for picking a 1st round pick, and 1 point for getting the right round.

If you predict the Packers will take Rodger Saffold in the 2nd round, but the Packers take him in the 3rd round, you will get 3 points for getting a 3rd round pick, but will not get the extra 1 point for getting the round right.

Past winner got 2 right. One of which in the correct round.

Trying to guess what Ted Thompson will do is a nearly impossible task.

I'll have to rent a monkey to throw darts at the big board this weekend and give it a whirl.

He'll do something like trade down in the 4th and get an extra 6th that will screw me all up.

It will be a safe bet that nobody gets 50%.

That is the best anyone has done then. I've tried every year, Ted and the board are unpredictable.

Last year almost every draft site had Meredith as a late 2nd rounder.

I remember a couple of draft sites really criticized the Sitton pick right after the draft thinking he was a 6th round guy who would never make it.

The more I read these alleged draft guru sites the more I am impressed with Ted and don't get my heart set on any particular player. I was very happy with the Meredith pick last year. Yet Deitrich-Smith was a better signing. I hated the Aaron Rodgers pick at the time too.

So this year more than ever I am inclined to leave it to the experts and see what happens. It is just more relaxing and fun.
