Tomorrow I'm heading to Lambeau Field for a field trip with my at-risk students...any messages to be delievered to Teddy while I'm there?

Stick to your guns, Ted and don't worry what the fans or media say.

Not all of us hated you, Ted. Get us a good pick. Thanks.

Probably too late for you to see but here is a message anyway. According to Pro Football Reference, the 23rd selection has produced the following players (this is the top of the 23rd pick class):

#23 picks, Armstrong (86), Ty Law (84), Ozzie Newsome* (81), Jim Jeffcoat (59), Bob Brudzinski (58), Jeff Hartings (57)

Not bad. Some good O lineman, great CB and a Hall of Fame TE. I remember Jeffcoat on the D line being considered something of an underachiever for a while, but he is in with some solid company.

Those numbers in parentheses are the Approximate Value for each player's career. The problem with the 23rd pick is that while you may find HOF talent, the average pick performed at a value of 33. As an example of an AV player of 33, the site lists Shane Olivea as a representative player with an AV score of 33. Who is Shane Olivea you ask? Exactly.

Ted, find a player we will all remember with pick 23. Remember in a good way, not like DHB.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
