    Jsonline Packer Blog

    Notables:

RB: LaGarrette Blount, Oregon (6-0.5, 245) [swede: I'm sorry, but the guy he punched had it coming. He's not versatile enough to for us, though.]

TE: Colin Peek, Alabama (6-5.4, 250)

[jsonline comment: You know how general manager Ted Thompson talks about drafting good football players? Well, Peek is just flat-out a good football player. Darn good. And has the type of mentality Thompson loves. Would make a perfect No. 2 to Finley if the Packers want to dump Donald Lee in an uncapped year.]

LT: Vladimir Ducasse, UMass (6-4.5, 326)

RT: Selvish Capers, West Virginia (6-4.5, 304)

OLB: Brandon Graham, Michigan (6-1.0, 263)

CB: Kyle Wilson, Boise State (5-10.0, 190)

CB: Devin McCourty, Rutgers (5-10.6, 186)
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

Brandon Graham is the exact person I think we are looking to trade up to grab. Gut feeling.

I doubt Wilson or McCourty will be drafted by us, Capers has stated his preference of no DB under 6'0" tall.
"I would love to have a guy that always gets the key hit, a pitcher that always makes his best pitch and a manager that can always make the right decision. The problem is getting him to put down his beer and come out of the stands and do those things." - Danny Murraugh

I think Patrick Robinson was an honorable mention on that list. He's a little longer.
