Steelers want a top 10 pick for Ben. There's no chance he gets traded unless Raiders are dumb enough to give up #8...okay, I guess there's a chance.

Ted is unpredictable. Rumors have it, he's trying to trade up.

Just off the cuff, I'm going to say sit tight and draft Jerry Hughes.

I say they trade down into the second round when the pick before us, Ted's coveted player gets drafted.

That would be Brandon Graham. He's a perfect fit for New England.

Did you mean a long drawn out discussion here or in the offices at Lambeau?
Definately here. I think they have a value chart and stick to it on picks. Thei discussion here could temporarily slow down the forums server.

Atlanta sportstalk latest fad is that Brandon Graham is the guy for the Falcons... I really hope they go JPP since they play a 4-3 and he projects better there, but local brass (Blank and Demitrov) seem to be impressionable and cater to the media/fan cries. If not, I don't think NE would let another Clay Matthews-type get away to us like some of ya said.

According to my fearless 1st round mock in the other thread, the top 10 guys available when the Packers pick will be:

                Jerry Hughes
                Taylor Mays
                Kyle Wilson
                Sean Weatherspoon
                Jared Odrick
                Everson Griffin
                Sergio Kindle
                Patrick Robinson
                Mike Iupati
                Daryl Washington

                Any thoughts?

One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Saw an interview with Hughes after he was chosen. His favorite food? Coney dogs.
