  • Morgan Burnett Highlights

Hate the production of the video...

    LOVE the product.

He is a master of the crushing D Back hit.

Check out the quarterback demolition at 1:30. Ow!

notice how his picks are all athletic and not just a result of a bunch of tip passes? plus no one really passed on GT because they were so easy to run on lol

my favorite play is the blitz for a qb sack.. i can see capers lickin his chops with that and conjuring up all sorts of stuff.

TT restored my faith with another ballsy move

The Bears wanted him too, and we skunked em.

Plays fast. Big hitter and instinctive. Presto starter.

That is perfect for the kid. Sharper's successor.

This might be the best highlight Burnett has all season:

Looks like a great addition. I'm all for solidying our team by adding Bigby to the bench rather than the Chicago pizza man. Burnett looks like a real ball-hawk, even more so than Collins and definitely more than Bigby, and it appears that he's not afraid to stick his nose into a guy's gut and make him pay for coming into his territory when he has to.

I don't know all the different formations, packages, sub-packages, but I would figure there is room in a rotation for Bigby and Burnett. If Burnett is that athletic, he would be great to have, especially when it's an obvious passing down. Bigby's thing has been staying healthy and that's unfortunate. I don't think he's a stiff like some. He's not great in obvious passing situations because he doesn't cover well enough. Burnett looks like he might be able to do that much better, so perhaps you get the most out of both players and get a good rotation going. It takes a lot of guys anyway. If the Packers don't want Bigby anymore, I'm fine with that too. I don't pay enough attention to know if he should be there or not. I'm not crazy about Jarrett Bush, and think he's been around enough for the Pack to know if he has the skills; doesn't appear to.

Funny thing I saw during the draft as ESPN was scrolling the information about key additions to each team and key losses. For the Packers they listed Matt Giordano as a key loss and for Atlanta a key addition. I laughed. That guy won't be missed. He might have been on special teams, but obviously was not good for our DB depth.

Relatively speaking I agree. The only concern I have is that there's a lot going on in this D for our safeties in terms of quarterbacking coverages and communicating on the fly, not to mention being in the right place at the right time yourself. I hope this rook is ready for primetime, because he needs to be. I think Perry will be very good for him, but he's got his work cut out. I hope he's dedicated and can handle failure well, because he'll be tested.

I expect Bigby to be the starter as Burnett works on some of his inconsistencies. There are reasons why a guy with his ball skills was available in the 3rd round. That said, if Bigby has to sit down due to an injury, he may never get the starting job back.

I'm with joemailman. I think Bigby will start this year. Burnett will either overtake him because of injury or some time next year.

What I liked is even on that big hit on the Virginia WR he wrapped his arms around him until he rag-dolled.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.
