  • Charlie Peprah is back with the Packers

After being cut last year the Falcons picked him up as an injury replacement.

Frankly, I would rather have a rookie that may develop into a good play than a Charlie Peprah that is not that good of a depth player.

Better than Bush. Lets hope Bush fails to make the roster.

C'mon, Cheez, obviously TT likes him. Better than the rooks out there. I'd be delighted if he shows enough to make the team.

Didn't Peprah get cut last year because he was injured during the offseason? That's not exactly damning.

He might not be an Atari Bigby but he's better than the Chicago Pizzaman.

I thought Peprah was pretty bad when he had to play defense in 2008. Unless he's improved since then, I think Bush is better.

              low upside
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

At this point, teams are starting to assemble their camp rosters, so "vets" like Peprah get signed to balance out the numbers at positions.

Unless injuries crop up, Peprah, Martin and maybe Bush and any other safety they sign are competing for 1 roster spot. It will likely go to the best ST performer. All three are known as ST guys. I say "maybe Bush" only because he still carries that swingman label as a guy who in a pinch can line up at safety or corner. For tha reason he could be the 9th or 10th DB, behind 4 safeties and 4 or 5 corners.

Realistically, you hope your #4 safety doesn't have to play meaningful snaps on defense, but so long as Bigby is in the top 3, the 4th probably will have to be counted on.

Maybe it is a sentimental re-signing so he can retire as a Packer.

                    LeRoy Butler...he is an FA!!!

Lets be honest Bush cant play saftey OR corner...

He can play both. He just can't "PLAY" either!
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Peprah is assignment sure but Bush is more athletic. Can you still believe TT matched the Titans offer sheet for Bush?

I'm on the "Fuck Bush" bandwagon - both literally and figuratively.

Football wise - Bush doesn't seem to be effective regardless of his supposed athleticism.

Maybe he's also being brought in to school Burnett a little. Mentor him. It's not like they're competing for the same job, exactly.
