  • Packers compensation from Vikings for Favre

    ... well, sort of:

Robert Francois, who signed with Minnesota last year as an undrafted rookie, was cut when the Vikings signed Brett Favre in August, and then was out of the league until the Packers signed him to their practice squad for the final four weeks.
Rober Francois for Brett Favre (via N.Y) !

No, he is a 6'3" 255 lb. linebacker from Boston College. He is still on the Packer roster.

Tracy Porter gave me all the compensation I ever wanted out of that deal.

My personal compensation came on the heart breaking pick against NO....well, heartbreaking for viking fans anyway.

Ironic in a way, I have thrown so many things at my TV on that same play over the years, but this time I simply stood up with both fists straight in the air as high as I could reach and smiled. Then I texted every minny fan in my address book who kept telling me how great BF is.
