Donald Driver Giving Back
That's almost 50/year (probably more since he became more well known). That's an incredible amount of charitable work--even for a pro athlete. Kudos to Donald--a fan favorite on and off the field."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted ThompsonTags: None

Great player, great guy, there is no better person you want representing your franchise than Donald Driver.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangershttp://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/95032454.html

I remember when PR was a growing concern with a home page, articles, wisdom from many distinct sources, fun, excitement, etc. etc.Originally posted by MJZiggyI remember when PR interviewed DD's mom about the Driver Foundation. That was a good day.
Now I understand what 'absentee landlord' means.

It all just makes a fan proud to know that this guy is going to be in the GB HoF. He has so much respect across the entire league for what he does on and off the field, it;s really going to be a sad day when we don't bring him back, or he retires.Originally posted by vinceOne of the greatest Packers of all-time, on and off the field.

Only after DD retires. I'm betting when DD retires, he'll stick to his decision.Originally posted by NumbOr TT "goes in another direction"Originally posted by packerbacker1234It all just makes a fan proud to know that this guy is going to be in the GB HoF. Falco, I understand the point you're trying to make, but why is that such an unreasonable statement?Originally posted by falcoOriginally posted by NumbOr TT "goes in another direction"Originally posted by packerbacker1234It all just makes a fan proud to know that this guy is going to be in the GB HoF. I actually don't think its an unreasonable statement. I'm rolling my eyes at the "tone" of the post. I don't doubt that when DD hits the wall, TT will make a decision to let him go (and probably allow him an opportunity to retire, like Henderson had, and Favre to a degree). That's just the nature of the beast.Originally posted by retailguyFalco, I understand the point you're trying to make, but why is that such an unreasonable statement?
I took it from Numb's statement that TT has a habit of throwing away old players like garbage; I just don't think thats the case at all.Busting drunk drivers in Antarctica since 2006
