You know what Rodgers will tell you is an underrated virtue? The ability to tolerate disappointment. We've tried to eliminate disappointment, run it off like a deadly virus. The world's most potent economy collapsed when too many people decided they couldn't bear to be disappointed. They bought houses they couldn't afford and cars they didn't need. They believed that a parent's most appalling failure is a disappointed child. Oh, no, we can't disappoint the children. Lord forbid we allow our kids to be deprived. The dirtiest word in the English language: no.

Tim Keown (and Rodgers) would be welcome additions over in FYI (If they could ever find this website)!

I thought the same when I read this. I can't wait for the season.

I have pretty much thought ARod had a little Joe Montana in him for his cool under fire, but until he wins a few playoff games I don't want to get too excited.

This I think is why TT drafted Rodgers. He knew that whoever replaced Favre in Green Bay would need to be, above all else, mentally tough. As it turned out, circumstances increased this requirement exponentially. I shudder to think what it might have been like if it was someone like Jason Campbell instead of Rodgers in that situation.
