I, for one, actually am looking forward to the WR battle. While DD will still put up a good year, I really want to see Nelson and/or Jones take their game to the next level. Especially since both will be seeing the field frequently in McCarthy's high-octane passing game.

(There. Does that sound like I could write a fluff piece for the newspaper? Or did I forget to mention "pad level"?)

I'll let my vote remain secret.

On an unrelated note I hope Atari Bigby dies slowly and painfully. Not literally, of course, but in a metaphysical metaphorical terrible cock disease kind of way.

        It's related.
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

Maybe it's the ex- O-lineman in me but I had to pick the fight for LG. One of the biggest predictors of success is O-line play. If this becomes a contested battle we might just be seeing the Packers offense reach new heights.

I wonder how well bigby is going to enjoy not playing this year.

He thinks he deserves a Nick Collins contraact, rumor has it. Rumor also has it that the packers drafted Burnett in anticipation of this problem.

So, rumor has it Bigby is in deep shit if he doesn't get in camp asap.

                        Waist benders have no chance.

I voted LG but RT is my concern. Tauscher is a wonderful Packer and apparently a fine human being too. But he was a declining RT last year, even though he was better than Barbre. He might be healthier this year and not cause a ounce of worry.

But currently I am worried about backup RT more than LG, as odd as that sounds.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Not me, but I figure everyone has gone somewhere. Not many post here very often.
The question is; will they come back, or stay wherever?
                              Therefore:

I'd be pretty comfortable with Lang at RT. Giaco not so much. LG strikes me as being the position where mediocrity rules. Them Mike Wahle types are hard to come by.
