Brett Favre began telling Vikings officials last night he will NOT return for a 20th season. I'm told Favre has said his ankle has simply not responded and that is why he won't be back.

I predict that, by the time the third pre-season game rolls around, Favre will begin talking about re-un-retiring. His ankle not responding is just as likely as anything a way of getting out of preseason games.Comment
