  • Defensive Line Dreaming: Aaron Schobel

He is available. the Bills are supposed to be releasing him. Speculation at PFT is Schobel going to the Texans. He is from Texas and knows one of their coaches, Bill Kollar.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Well, I heard that the reason the Bills released him is that the Bills are switching to the 3-4 and Schobel is uninterested in learning a new position to the point of being willing to retire. So he's not coming here.

Well, that blows my theory. I thought it was the other way around But on second thought, that makes no sense. A 3-4 DE would probably welcome the relief a 4 man line might bring.

        A lot like Kampmann. A 4-3 guy not a 3-4 guy.

He has always been a good player but not a LB. Not big enough for 3-4 DE.

In regards to LB: I think we're alright there.

Square peg in a round hole. Packers groupings are just fine. Another year with the scheme and coaches putting the best players in position to make plays should result in a top 5 defense.
