Ok - here's the lyrics because I know some of you are like me and are far too lazy to click a couple extra times to find them.
Ooooh Oooooh
Yeah Yeah
Donald Driver
He will catch the pass on the football field
Can't anyone cover me?
Donald Driver
You can bump and run but he still breaks free
Oh it's another Lambeau leap
Gonna get away
Donald Driver
Yeah
Shiny helmet
The NFC North is the black and blue
The Pack is coming for you
Look out
Race down the sideline
You can count on him when the game is tight
Break records on Monday night
Gonna get away
Get away
Between the damn goal lines
Is a dude who's tough as steel, yeah
It should come as no surprise
He's worth his multi-million deal, yeah
Donald Driver
You're the star on The Pack's parade
Traveling down Holmgren Way
Jump Jump
Out jump the corner
On the crossing route from the pump fake screen
Go all the way for the T.D. yeah
Donald Driver
He will catch the pass on the football field
Can't anyone cover me?
No No
Donald Driver
You can bump and run but he still breaks free
Oh it's another Lambeau leap
Gotta get away
Donald Driver
He's a survivor
Reputation's clean
Donald Driver

How cool is this? - I got a message this morning from "Snuff" at WJJO 94.1 FM - Madison. They want to air the song.
I'm prepping a radio quality file for them now.
I'm encouraging anyone to share the vid on any other Packer sites/chat boards, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace etc. If any of you have contacts for other WI rock stations please let me know.

That song is something I couldn't have done if I hadn't been hanging around here soaking in all the Packer discussions and information.
So - thank you Packerrats.
Again - feel free to share with anyone who might enjoy it."Everyone's born anarchist and atheist until people start lying to them" ~ wise philosopher

We've been blogged by WAPL - rock radio of Appleton/Green Bay WI
Special thanks to Len - who is also a musician and Packer fan. I gave him a broadcast quality recording of the song at his request. He tells me he'll be playing the song all season long!
Thank you 100x Packerrats for the support on this - lots of views from this site.

Well done Captain. I was in Baltimore a few months back. Riding around on the free bus in the inner harbor. While riding, I met three young guys who wrote the rap based jingle for the free shuttle bus.
they were quite proud, and deserved to be. Used utube to publicize the jingle, and wound up signing a contract for 3 jingles for each of the free lines plus doing publicity at picnics and events downtown.
Hope this works out GREAT for you!

Can't thank you all enough, seriously.
So far so good - 2 WI stations actively rotating the song. 3 others have played it at least once. All 5 have blogged or mentioned it on their social networking sites. Several other Packers forums have picked it up and posted links by way of the grapevine. We didn't post the song title early on so it has been altered to "Holy Driver".

We're actively working some other ideas - one is definitely Packer oriented. No ETA yet but will keep y'all posted.
Thanks for supporting unsigned musicians.

Go Captain! Nice parody/tribute.
"Balls of Steel"
Many great highlights here, but in particular I like the TD against the Browns starting at 1:34 on the YouTube video. 15 yard pass to a wide open Driver. Takes a relatively simple left angle that completely defeats the first defender. Heads down the sideline, somehow manages to elude the last defender and score the TD.
It's obvious on this play that he is neither the fastest nor the most athletic player on the field, but he finds a way to get into the end zone. A small sample showcasing his YAC skills."My problems with him are his vision and tendency to dance instead of pounding a hole." - Harvey Wallbangers
