There should probably be a medal for any of the eastern time zone 'Rats who watch the whole game. Then again, who doesn't want to stay up until 1:00 A.M. to watch 3rd stringers?
Things to watch:
LG battle: Bulaga continues to get good reviews, but Colledge hasn't done badly.
FB: Quinn Johnson needs to do some really positive things on a consistent basis. I think he's on the outside looking in right now.
RB: Great chance for Quinn Porter to shine with Lumpkin and Starks nursing hamstring injuries.
WR: James Jones seems to be pulling ahead of Jordy Nelson. Driver may not play, so both should get plenty of reps tonight.
CB: Would like to see Underwood eliminate mental mistakes. Woodson may not play, so he and Lee will get plenty of reps at CB and Nickel. Also hope to see a lot of Sam Shields.
DL: Where is Justin? Is he on the field?
S: Hope to see some progress from Burnett. Will be watching Derrick Martin who looks to be improved this year. He could make Bigby expendable.
ST: I'll take a reasonable amount of competence on the return and coverage units after what we saw last week. Bryan had a pretty good week of practice. I sense he is pulling ahead of Mastay, but the games are what matter most.
