    • Wouldn't be too hard on Francois. He's a UDFA rookie out there thrown into the fire with the starters against the #1 O. He's not going to look good doing that. He didn't look absolutely awful, and I personally chocked up more negative plays to Bishop than to Francois.

      • Flynn looked really good out there with the 2's against the 1's. For that matter, Brandon Jackson ran really well with that 2nd unit too.

        • I don't know if anyone else saw that article a few weeks back, but Brandon Jackson apparently made some changes in his diet and work ethic. I've never been a huge fan of his, but this could be a breakout year for him. He's a tough, squatty runner. We might be better off behind Ryan Grant than we think. Jackson just looks like a different guy this year.

          • Looks like the 2nd team OL got the message that MM wasn't happy last week. Of course, 4 of them are actually legitimate starters. Best situation on the OL we've seen in a while.

It looks like whoever we get at punter will be fine. Crosby has been real solid too.

Outside of that, the coverage units are just scary. Returns - so/so.

                  • Frank Zombo can do anything. The impossible is unknown to Frank Zombo.

either punter looks like a nice improvement over last year

                            • Well, if we were about the worst last year at ST's. This year, it looks like just having a solid punter and Crosby bouncing back a little, we might move into the 20-25 range.

I guess that's a relative positive, you know, not being the worst.

I'm getting a little tired of the bad coverage units though. Why can't we cover kicks?

it has to be the coaching, it just has to
