I'm hoping Brad Jones, Shields, Burnett and Hawk make some plays on D.

The way Clay Matthews played last week, he might be the best front 7 player we've had since Reggie White.

Bills defense could give us some problems for awhile - it's really the only chance the bills have to stay int he game is for the their defense to step it up even more than they did last week.

That being said, our D should dominate that offense. Matthews should get another couple sacks... Unless they can wear us down with the run, I don't know how this game stays competitive.

The guys I would like to step up (because we need them to) are:

BJack: needs to make us stop worrying about losing grant or getting Lynch

Shields: We need some talent at CB for the future

Neal: If he plays...we NEED the big guys to get some rest.

It will be interesting to see if the Bills try to take Finley out of the game the way Philly did. It comes at a cost. On both of Arod's TD passes, Finley was double-teamed, leaving Driver and Jennings respectively with single coverage. Arod will have to find that guy consistently. What he has to avoid is trying to force it in to Finley as he did on the first INT.

If the OL isn't as porous then let them double team Finley all day long. I think Rodgers was playing scared last week and that's why so many mistakes crept into his Game.

I'm comin around to agree with that position... to make a 3-4 work, you have to have that big rush LB off the corner, or the QB can just sit back there and pick you apart.

Matthews is proving to be a big-time player.

I agree...getting to the QB is paramount in this league. Even JBush looks good when you are hitting the QB fast. what really excited me about last week was guys OTHER than Clay hitting the QB. If Brad Jones can provide consistent pressure we will be in business.

I get the feeling this is the type of thing that was happening to Jennings at the start of last year, when he often seemed to be the third option. I suspect, as Finley did last year, someone else will benefit from the attention paid to Finley and the Packer O will learn to take advantage.
