  • Packers Getting Recognition

I'm not sure if I like them getting a lot of attention. I'd rather see them be the underdogs and then shut people up , but hey I won't complain.

Joe Theismann has the Packers #1. Now we'll see if the Packers can handle adversity.

They've been getting attention for a couple of months.

Actually, now that the NFL has some actual stories to relate, the kiss of death coverage has lessened somewhat. On the radio in the car today, all I heard about was the Saints, Revis, Braylon Edwards, the Texans and Trent Dilfer calling out Mike Singletary and the 49ers.

Dilfer completely blasted Mr. Eyes Popping. He said when you play the emotion card and that is all you have, what can you do to come back from an 0-2 start? He said it appears the 49ers spend all their time learning to be intense and do not practice ball security, penalty prevention or getting plays to the QB with more than 5 seconds on the play clock.

It was quite the broadside rarely heard from ESPN.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
