People weren't sure if he would come back after that season. I can't say Favre will call it quits after this year for sure, but I'm willing to bet his season stats aren't going to be nearly as good as last year.
His career QB rating is 86.4, last year it was 107.2; I expect him to fall back to the statistical norm this year. That will still be good enough (along with AD and their defense) to keep them in the running for a playoff spot.
It remains to be seen if he can get it together at 41 years old and make MIN the much-hyped Super Bowl contender.Comment
