I'm surprised they haven't given Taco a call.

I'm surprised that Burt hasn't called out his GM yet. The GM can't finish a trade for V.Jackson. Sound familiar TT couldn't finalize a trade for Moss and he gets called out. What gives Burt?

Yeah really. Shouldn't he have "retired" the next day in frustration?

I just cant believe that our number 3 and 4 WR are better than their 1 and 2.

Injuries are such a key to a team's success or lack thereof. A healthy Rice and Harvin would have made a big difference to the Vikes.

People don't like to admit it, but luck is a huge part of football.

Let's hope the Pack is lucky on the injury front.

On the other hand, Texaspackerbacker used to argue that bad luck was the only reason the Packers hadn't won 12 Superbowls with Favre.

What ever happened to TPB? I used to argue with him non-stop on JSO...

Nobody really knows but the prevailing theory is that he has joined his arch nemesis Tim Russert.

He burned out after Obama was elected, and claimed he had nothing left to say. Then he completely disappeared. We fear the worst. Although...he might be laying dead flowers on Tim Russert's grave.

61.3 comp pct (the bright spot), to go with 20 TDs, 29 INT's, and a QB rating of 70.9.

People weren't sure if he would come back after that season. I can't say Favre will call it quits after this year for sure, but I'm willing to bet his season stats aren't going to be nearly as good as last year.

His career QB rating is 86.4, last year it was 107.2; I expect him to fall back to the statistical norm this year. That will still be good enough (along with AD and their defense) to keep them in the running for a playoff spot.

It remains to be seen if he can get it together at 41 years old and make MIN the much-hyped Super Bowl contender.
Bring back Andrae Thurman! Bring back Antonio Chatman! Bring Back Rod Gardner!
Chatman returned a punt for an 85 yard TD against the Bears once. Yes we lost, but still.

Favre was limited in practice on Thursday with an ankle injury.
On Wednesday, Favre fully participated in practice with an ankle injury. There was no mention of a right elbow injury -- and there was no limitation in practice -- until after the window closed on trading for Chargers receiver Vincent Jackson.
Earlier this week, Jason Whitlock of FOXSports.com predicted that, if the Vikings continue to lose games, quarterback Brett Favre eventually will put himself on injured reserve.

The truth is, no one can say if it's coincidence or not.

                              I let that go.

But this whole thing does heat up the old debate about whether Favre makes his receivers better...
