Isn't it interesting how the preseason was such a lie?

The consensus was that the offense would be a machine and the defense was suspect.

But the defense played pretty well against da Bears, while the offense kept shooting itself in the foot.

And this was the year that the offensive line was finally going to be fine...but they played poorly on Monday night.

I have concerns due to the Lions' defensive line. They are getting after people. If the offensive line can't move their feet quick and protect Rodgers and open an occasional hole for a running back, this could be un-fun.

On Monday when we didn't screw up the bares had no answer for our passing attack. We were our own worst enemy that night so I'm thinking if we cut down on the penalties and play ST like we did the first 2 games we'll be okay.

      Here kittie, kittie, kittie, kittie!!

Hey, there's another game this weekend? I was perfectly content to complain about the Bears game for the rest of 2010.

They may be overrated, but they are rated over his backup.

I've seen this thread all week and haven't looked in it until now.

Sam Shields is doubtful for Sunday. Brandon Underwood would be the nickel if Shields can't go.

Looks like Mike Neal has a good chance of playing.

                Chillar is out.

Contrary to some reports currently out there, Jarrett Bush will serve as #Packers' nickel cornerback Sunday, not Brandon Underwood.

Yeah, Bedard got it wrong. Here's what Bedard reported:

CB Sam Shields (calf) didn't practice and is doubtful for the game. Coach Mike McCarthy said Brandon Underwood will be the nickel, possibly followed by Pat Lee and then Jarrett Bush. "I think defensively he’s ready to go," McCarthy said of Underwood. "All the snaps he had in training camp leading up to his injury there in Indianapolis. Brandon’s ready to go."

                    Here's what MM actually said:

(How’s Shields doing, and what’s your comfort level with Underwood considering he hasn’t played for a while?)
Sam Shields didn’t practice today. He’s doubtful. It’s something that he’s a far reach to play. Brandon Underwood, he’s had a number of weeks of practice, and I thought he was able to get into the game in Chicago. Fully capable of playing better on special teams and anticipate him to do that, but I think defensively he’s ready to go. All the snaps he had in training camp leading up to his injury there in Indianapolis. Brandon’s ready to go.

(Is that the way you’ll go or do you have other options?)
Well, we have a couple options. We have Brandon Underwood, also Patrick Lee has worked in there, and also Jarrett Bush. We’ll discuss that today and finalize that for our meetings tomorrow.

So... does anyone want to get together for a beer or two before the game?
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.
