They are hungry for wins, well coached and have some athletes. I picked them ahead of the bears in the division. Lets get used to one thing I think, the division and maybe the conference is going to be tight all year.

i didn't like the play calling for the most part. tried to get big chunks instead of first downs. led to turnovers and 3 & outs. the o was killing the d today.

      How is that even possible?

I swear -- MM hears critics and comes up with some funny-ass gameplan 'just because'... I have no idea what was going on today.

      Let's just run to run.

But Lurker was right. That final drive was nice.

Just run to run? What are you talking about?

They had 21 total rushes with 10 of those coming on the final drive (that includes Rodger's rush and the kneeldown).

        • Arod'a pass attempts were so low because we never had the ball and when we did it was a short field.

I feel it was the intention from the get-go to run more than we were expected. Those two runs on 2-<2 come to mind.

Guess my perception is skewed from the complete lack of possession. Seems like we didn't do anything on O today and I attributed that to not very many passing attempts.

              • Mathews was not as dominant this week compared to the other three weeks.

I think Capers had a bad game plan with the 3 man rushes on third and longs. I don't think he was as aggressive enough.

Oh well at least we won.

we had no answer for anything underneath or in the flats. even i could have thrown for 200 today -- no doubt in my mind.

i think he was actually a little too aggressive. it left us open to those passes.

I actually thought they blitzes a little too heavy at times on third down. There were a few times, especially in the first half, that they allowed a third down conversion because they sent the house and had nobody defending the screen. Happened at least twice on third and long.

that's what im saying. aggressive to the QB and not to the flats where we were being exploited. you could see it coming every time.

I agree. Everyone came across the line and Hill tossed it right behind them leaving no one to guard that area.

                          • By the way, I like the hot pink towels but I'd like them a lot more if they had the team logos on them. Have that with a pink ribbon and I'd be all over it.
