IMO the running game is below average due to the lack of a homerun threat. Yes, Kuhn did a nice John Riggins impersonation but imo unsustainable. Kuhn will not lead us to the super bowl playing tailback.

I think you're right and then not entirely; Packer run plays are more obvious than ever & the QB run option is the savior. Still, November & December are often better run-wise for Packers. Weather?

Rodgers had more rushing yards in the first four games of 2008 and 2009 than he does this year.
2008 - 78
2009 - 104
2010 - 69

"Non Rodgers" rushing yards:

I guess we could argue that the running game is off to its best start, as bad as that is!

I think all NFL teams have tape with AR running...that option is what even suggests GB has a running game. Stats are stats & this is a great example that stats do not tell the whole story. Packers can't run the ball when the opponents know Packers are running. Got a stat for that? You're Patler, so you probably do

One drive! Why wait though? It's not like Detroit defense were tired at any point in the game. Drive due to: Great call at 2 min warning to go to passing game and that 16 yard scamper, early in drive, by AR on 2nd 13 were paramount. Kuhn did the rest - really well too.

I like Kuhn & Kuhn is certainly a better runner than BJ.
Now, BJ should see some screens chalked up for him as he's a pretty nice weapon as a receiving RB.
