Not sure. Would require at least checking the Samkon Gado season, i remember that year being really, really bad in terms of injuries.

Barnett and Chillar, on top of Grant, maybe Burnett, Harris missing time?!?

With all these injuries you would think making a trade might be a good idea.

Do we know what's wrong with Chillar's shoulder?

Yet, that same year,as I recall, one of the SB teams had more starter games lost to injuries than the Packers did.

Was that the Colts? Sanders alone is consistently good for at least 8 games in the "starter games missed" category. Or maybe the Bears with S Mike Brown. Or both teams!

Anyway, I like the perspective and the point I think you are alluding - starter games missed is significant, but not an absolute deal breaker.

Packers middle linebacker Nick Barnett injured his wrist during Sunday's win over the Lions.

Hopefully Chillar and Barnett can come back - we need them both bad. If not, we might have to look for some linebackers.

I am going to side with Brandon and say Bishop decides that just playing in August SUCKS BALLS and plays amazing.

Multiple sources tell the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel that Packers ILB Nick Barnett may need season-ending surgery on his right wrist.

                          Can't he wear a club?

More like the doom and gloom forum. No happy threads here lately, it's getting old. I still think we can go far, all homerism aside. Injuries are part of the game.

After surgery? The Al Harris school of recovery.

edit: In case anyone misunderstands......Harris asking to have his splean removed if it means he can play.

You don't play until your surgery heals dudes......

If Barnett takes the year off because he hurt his wrist, I am personally going to find him and anally rape him. I feel the need to specify anal rape since he obviously sports a giant vagina... in his soul.

No that's not right. I love vaginas, and they've gotten this negative connotation with being a pussy. Having a vagina shouldn't be confused with being a pussy.

Anyway, WTF does Barnett need his wrist for anyway? The guy's always waving his idiotic arms in the air trying to correct for his bad angel caused by a total lack of instinct and stupid hair, so a cast should help balance him out, and it's not like he's actually tackled someone the right way in 4 or 5 years now.
