Outcoached at halftime yet again. I'm sick of it. McCarthy is a great QB developer but he is just NOT cut out to be an NFL head coach.
It's not on M3.....the pad level was too high.

If your D is playing so well...don't you want the sure points?

With out pathetic short yardage rushing attack I take the sure points also
I have just as much confidence that we make it at fourth and five spreading them out and passing than I do at fourth and one with our offense
By all means disagree with me if you want to, just sayin I agreed at the time to go for it, and I'm not going to waver just because that's one of many many many plays that cost us the game.
IN fact, there is a buffet menu full of choices for that honor.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

i'm with you on this one. if its later in the game then i might kick the field goal. but at that time i thought going for it from the one was the right move

          very true

Instead of going for three they might have converted on fourth down and scored a TD in regulation anyways

The Poppinga penalty was piss poor

In the big picture not going to beat many teams with all the injuries and then when losing Finley and Matthews in the game

Going for it didn't lose the game as it resulted in 3 points anyway.

Especially when we don't even try.
Run game averaged 9 yards a carry and you're blaming that for the loss? How about we sucked ass on 3rd down? We missed a FG? Too many penalties? Injuries?

              • For the most part every media outlet has not hammered GB for not getting another RB via trade.

How about Driver's drops (again) and Jennings disappearing during the game (again)?

                  • Well that was rough.

I was impressed with our 3rd string D. They held their own for being strapped together with duct tape and sawdust. Offense looked dead after Finley and Lee went out, even though Quarless made some nice plays.

After I am done screaming, I will probably have the maturity to look at it this way in a day or three.

                          • When you lose a close game like this, there will be a dozen things you can point to that caused the loss. Bottom line though is that this team is a shadow of what they would be if healthy. They just need to try to stay above.500 right now and hope they can get on another late season run once they get some players back.

                              • I'd rather have gone for the points in the first half, but that didn't lose this game.

Absolutely horrible blocking in 2nd half, bad penalties (even with the 2 gift non-calls we should have gotten for PI) at least FOUR dropped passes and absolute abandonment of the run game did this team in.

This one is on the offense and the coaching more than anyone else.

You can't let a substandard team like the Skins hang around like that. The missed 48 yarder bit us in the rear big time.

Continually losing key players doesn't help either. Shudder to think what it'll be like without Finley in the lineup.
