Ok, some are ducking from the falling sky, and some are putting on Rose colored glasses. I decided to cite some things for debate regarding this team.
Arguments for us being good:
1) We haven't been blown out of a game despite injuries galore. We have some of the key players coming back.
2) We haven't called enough running plays to be successful.
3) We have lost in OT against good teams coming off a bye week twice. Its not easy to beat good teams coming off a bye week.
4) We got hosed by penalties (many correctable, many bad calls) in our other loss.
Arguments for being bad:
1) We have lost some big contributors for the season. Finley changes the offense, Barnett was our best rounded LB. Grant is our best runner. Thats a lot to overcome.
2) We are blowing leads and failing to finish and losing the ST battles in nearly every opportunity.
3) For a combination of reasons our QB is holding the ball too long and getting hit too often. Always a recipe for failure.
Feel free to add to either list or discuss ad length.
