Where it Patler when we need him ? I'd like some formal clarification on the rule on the Shiancoe catch. I swore I've seen that exact play twice before and both times they ruled it a catch.

True. Qs was not a TD; same as Vs was not.

Yea, my wife insist it was a TD for V but I can see why they called it the way they did. I've seen it called the other way also.....but that's life.

It used to be that your hands needed to be under the ball and then control when/if it touched the ground. If that is still the case, then Thunder Dan might have a point. He was holding on to the back of the ball while the front hit the ground. Not sure if that is the relevant interpretation, though.

On the replay it was clear Vinsanthe readjusted the ball before hitting the ground. I am guessing it was because of that plus the point of the ball hitting the ground that caused the reversal!

That was a shit call. If that isnt a TD what is. This officiating is getting goofy. Plus Rodgers isnt playing very well at all.

At the same time, we've had to use 2 challenges, one of which was a terrible call - Harvin stepping out 1-2 yards early. The Collins "hit out of bounds" was bullshit. Jennings was obviously held or interfered with on the 2nd INT.

Overall this has been a terribly officiated game thus far. I think we're still getting the short end about 53-47 though.
