I do have better job security than an NFL coach.

Being an NFL coach is about as secure as being an auto worker in Flint.

Green Bay Packers DL Howard Green likely will see playing time on running downs during the team's Week 8 game, reports Rob Demovsky, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Looks like he'll see some action. If Jenkins can play (which he is leaning towards) then we'll have a decent rotation.

Pickett is probably going to be out ,but there's still a possibility he can play.

actually, GM is calling workers back and Ford is reporting profits. not sure if they can save flint though.

NFC North players on injured reserve (this doesn't even count the three players who haven't played yet because they are on the PUP):

          NFC NORTH

Green Bay (10, 5) – RB Ryan Grant **, TE Jermichael Finley**, LB Brad Jones**, LB Nick Barnett**, S Morgan Burnett**, CB Josh Bell, S Derrick Martin, LB Brady Poppinga, DE Justin Harrell, DE Mike Neal.
Minnesota (2, 1) -- WR Jaymar Johnson, CB Cedric Griffin **.
          Detroit (6, 1) – LB Zack Follett **
Chicago – (3, 0) -- LB Hunter Hillenmeyer, DT Averell Spicer and RB Harvey Unga.

          **denote starter
          Pretty grim.
Interesting. A lot of people have started calling for M3's head, but have the opinion that he'll survive due to the mass of injuries to starters.

Considering most of the injuries are to defensive players. and considering the offense is misfiring, I dunno if he gets a pass.
i was calling for his head three years ago...injuries had/has nothing to do with it. it's his playcalling pure and simple.
